Lost Restaurants of Tulsa Book Signing with Author, Rhys Martin

Join Tulsa author Rhys Martin in our Demonstration Kitchen as he signs and discusses his new book, "Lost Restaurants of Tulsa". This new book covers the history of about 50 restaurants from the city's history as the "Oil Capital of the World." The rush of roughnecks and oil barons built a culinary foundation that not only provided traditional food and diner fare but also inspired upper-class experiences and international cuisine. Tulsans could reserve a candlelit dinner at the Louisiane or cruise along the Restless Ribbon with a pit stop at Pennington’s. Generations of regulars depended on family-owned establishments such as Villa Venice, The Golden Drumstick and St. Michael’s Alley.

Come to Mother Road Market to learn more about Rhys' research and get a copy of the book for your very own. As a special treat, a limited quantity of My Pi Pizza will be available! Get here early to make sure you get a little taste of this part of Tulsa history.

In the Vault: Earth Wind & Crystals

Earth Wind & Crystals is popping up in The Vault! Here's more about their pop up: We're all about luxe jewelry and finding a pretty piece to wear. But our real passion lies in the therapeutic properties that each of these earthy crystals represent. Our belief is when you know what those healing properties are, the results can be both genuine and robust.

We see these pieces as "anchors". A tangible reminder that you're loved, you're accepted, you're safe. So every time you go to put on a piece, you wear it as an affirmation and reminder of what it represents. You'll find key words for each piece that sum up what they stand for, along with a chakra and zodiac identifier.

So, browse our collections or work with our designers to translate your idea or special crystal into a keepsake that is designed to last. One of our passions is helping find pieces that are personalized for you and your loved ones. Whether you're looking for a specific gem, a specific look, or want to consult with us on the special metaphysical properties of each crystal, we'll be with you every step of the way!

In the Vault: Boggy Creek Terrariums

Boggy Creek Terrariums captures the mystery of nature by creating self-sustainable miniature ecosystems. Not only do I enclose a tiny world in glass, but I also add miniature figures to enhance the fascination... I like to call my terrariums living dioramas because the scenes are made with scale in mind. All my artwork is created by myself.. even the beautiful moss is hand-picked, mostly from the wilderness of Oklahoma!
