Join us for a special lecture with Arena Mueller on The Renaissance Neighborhood History Project and learn how you can research the history of your own home!

Talk with immediately be followed with a Q & A session.

Arena will share the goals of the Renaissance Neighborhood History Project: Document existing/known histories, research and uncover unknown histories of the neighborhood’s assets, and to photograph architectural features unique to RNA homes.

Along the way we will see pictures of unique homes and hear heartwarming and blood chilling stories from times gone by. Finally, we will talk about how anyone, with some time and dedication, can research a property of their own.

Biography:

Arena Mueller is a clinical psychologist who works with Veterans. In her spare time, she writes a blog called The Renaissance Neighborhood History Project in which she records known and newly uncovered histories of the midtown Tulsa neighborhood. Her home for the past ten years is a 1930 yellow brick ginger bread cottage named Golden Gables. Arena and her husband Walter roast their own coffee, are entertained by two cats, and can be found on road bikes and trails on weekends.
