SOLD OUT!
If succulents float your boat, we have just the workshop for you! Southwood Home & Garden is excited to help you create a beautiful summer arrangement of succulents in a boat. Not a real boat, just a pot called a boat for its elongated shape like a canoe.
Join us on the evening of Thursday, June 12, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. in the Demonstration Kitchen at Mother Road Market. Mark your calendars, gather your friends, and get your tickets because space is limited. At the end of this fun evening each ticket holder will have a piece of living decor to take home!
The Southwood team will be there to guide you through designing and planting your succulent arrangement. You will also learn best care practices to keep your succulent boat arrangement thriving at home. All the supplies will be provided including accents like tumbled river rocks, recycled glass, and preserved moss.
Remember, you can also make it a full evening by grabbing dinner and drinks in the food hall before the workshop begins.
Plants available at the time of workshop will vary. Check the Humanitix for an example picture!
This instructional workshop is limited to 14 participants. The workshop will start at 6:30 p.m. Doors will open 10 minutes early for check-in. All supplies will be provided, including:
· One 15” concrete pot
· 8 succulent plants
· Southwood Cactus Mix, our custom blend which is perfect for succulents
· Accents: tumbled river rocks, recycled glass, preserved moss
· Disposable gloves will be available for use at the workshop
· Care sheet for your succulent arrangement
This is a hands-on workshop. Please be aware that participants will be touching soil and plants. The classroom does have a sink for washing hands. Please dress accordingly.
